Somatic Breathwork Workshops
It all starts with your breath
Hard truth: there’s no magic fix.
The journey back to yourself is a practice.
Life is cyclical. As life continues to unfold, we confront new challenges, and face opportunities to grow, and heal. Our evolution beckons as we break patterns with courage, and in turn deepen our understanding of self. The path to strengthening our resilience allows us to expand our window of tolerance to life’s stressors — giving us the ability to self-regulate with more flexibility, and adaptability, so that we can perform better, relate more deeply, and live more fully.
Somatic Breathwork
Somatic Breathwork is a journey of freeing your thinking mind and returning to your feeling body. Through an active breathing process that activates then regulates the nervous system, you get the opportunity to release the stress, old patterning and emotion that lie unprocessed in your body. When you clear the energetic weight of this pressure, you are able to experience clarity of mind, connection to purpose, and embody new states of vitality.

Your breath is a bridge between your conscious mind and the deeper wisdom your body already holds. When we use conscious, active circular breathing techniques, we're essentially changing the chemistry in our blood and brain—creating a natural, safe altered state that allows you to access insights and healing that your thinking mind alone can't reach.
Here's what makes this approach so powerful: instead of trying to think your way through patterns or problems (which often keeps us stuck in loops), somatic breathwork works from the "bottom up"—from body to brain. By anchoring in the breath, you bypass the mental chatter and allow your nervous system to communicate directly with you. This is where the real magic happens.
You might find yourself connecting to memories, understanding the root of certain behaviors, or suddenly having clarity about something that's been puzzling you. These aren't insights clouded by overthinking or your ego's need to have the "right" answer—they're coming from a much deeper, more authentic place within you.
The circular breathing pattern helps move stagnant energy through your system, allowing suppressed emotions to surface and be processed safely. As this happens, your nervous system begins to regulate, old patterns start to shift, and you create space for more joy, peace, and connection to your true purpose.
It's both beautifully simple and profoundly transformational—your body already knows how to heal; the breath just gives it permission to do so.

While the format of clearing and repatterning remains consistent, the resulting output can vary from session to session. Your mood or state of mind will vary day to day, so naturally will the insights and end state vary too.
At the start of each session, participants are encouraged to think of a 1-word intention to help ground them with what they want to receive (eg. joy, abundance, openness, forgiveness, etc).
Often participants will like to force or control how a session will go and sometimes the journey takes them in a totally different direction. Neither is good or bad, right or wrong. The invitation is to simply allow your experience to unfold as it's meant to. To leave expectations about how you want yourself to feel. To surrender to the beauty of possibility and that whatever is meant to unfold.

The practice employs deep, circular belly breathing (aka. diaphragmatic breathing).
In the first half of the session we breathe in/out of the mouth to activate the nervous system in an act to agitate any suppressed emotions so they can be processed and released.
In the second half, we switch to nasal breathing to down-regulate the nervous system, and assist with re-patterning and integration of desired states we wish to embody (eg. joy, peace, clarity).

“Trauma is not what happens to us, but what we hold inside in the absence of an empathetic witness.”
